STMA art students generously donated original artwork to Art 4 Shelter, a benefit for Simpson Housing Services. This organization’s “mission is to house, support and advocate for people experiencing homelessness” (art4shelter.org). The 95 pieces of artwork will be part an exhibit that includes over 1200 pieces of original artwork, all available for sale on Wednesday, May 9th, at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. The preview begins at 6:00 p.m., with the art sale running from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
